A woman was discovered dead at a Mississippi jail.
WLBT in Jackson reports that the woman’s body was discovered Saturday afternoon.
According to the Rankin County Coroner’s Office, the woman was 27 years old. There was no more information revealed about the woman.
The body was sent to the Mississippi State Medical Examiner’s Office to establish the cause and manner of death.
The Mississippi Bureau of Inquiry is leading an inquiry into the case.
