A Toledo woman won the top prize of $80,000 each year for 25 years with an Ohio lottery scratch-off ticket.
She purchased the winning $2,000,000 Cashword scratch-off ticket from Sam’s Deli on Matzinger Road in Toledo, according to the Ohio Lottery. The cost was $30.
Instead of accepting the top prize and receiving an annual check, she chose to receive her cash in advance. The Ohio Lottery said that the cash option for the reward is $1,000,000. The lottery stated that she will earn $720,000 after paying 28 percent in state and federal taxes.
As of August 6, the game still has one top prize remaining.
