Amy Gattis and then fiancé Chuck Sullivan as they appeared in the January 19th, 2022 Ingleside Index in the Small Business Corner feature written about the newly opened Twisted Apes Bar & Grill that replaced The Chalet at 2627 Hwy 361. At the time, Sullivan was identified as a co-owner, a point Gattis never disputed with the newspaper then. But ever since Sullivan was arrested and charged with criminal mischief for allegedly smashing out the rear window of a former employee’s car Memorial Day weekend she has since told the paper he is not an ‘owner’ or a ‘manager’, just ‘an employee’.
