Monday, May 8, the San Patricio County Sheriff’s Office located the bodies of two Aransas Pass men inside this Nissan Armada SUV in a field along FM 2725, near the Moose Lodge and the Union Pacific Railroad Crossing. Both had been shot, some time in the early morning hours that day, already dead by the time they were discovered by deputies.

A good portion of FM 2725 was blocked off to traffic May 8 while crime scene investigators searched for clues into the double homicide. Both victims, according to Sheriff Oscar Rivera, worked for Roosevelt’s Restaurant at the Tarpon Inn, the clothes they had on at the time offering that important
detail.
