Juvenile Hospitalized After Gunfire at Walmart on Saratoga

CORPUS CHRISTI, Tx โ€” A juvenile male sustained a gunshot wound Thursday night at the Walmart located on Saratoga Boulevard.

The Corpus Christi Police Department’s blotter post reveals that officers received a dispatch call at approximately 10:43 p.m. on July 3 to respond to the 6100 block of Saratoga Boulevard near Cimarron Boulevard following reports of a shooting.

Upon arriving at the business location, officers discovered a juvenile male who had sustained a gunshot wound to his upper extremities.

“The male was transported to the local hospital in critical but stable condition. This is an isolated incident, and it is actively being investigated,” CCPD Officer Madeline Vaughn stated in the blotter post.
