Ingleside on the Bay resident Patrick Nye last weekend, March 26, was boating near his Bayshore Dr. home and spotted these images of what appears to be a deceased dolphin calf, and its mother pushing it in the water. A Galveston-based marine mammal rescue group has been notified and is hoping to determine what may have caused its death as residents of the peninsula community express sadness and concern on social media.
