
If all goes according to plan, the Fr. Charles H. Doherty Municipal Pool in Ingleside will be reopened Friday, July 15th. The nearly $1-million renovation has taken place after the pool was shuttered following Hurricane Harvey in August 2017. Ingleside is taking complete ownership of Cove Park from San Patricio County for the bargain price of $4,331.29, the cost the city must reimburse the county for the transfer of deed. Ingleside Parks Department has had signage on the property for years. It’s an incredible deal for citizens, given the park’s waterfront location and boat ramp access, located right next to Ingleside on the Bay. Ingleside Index

In addition to his job as Assistant Chief of the Ingleside Police Department, Martin Molina has accepted additional responsibilities as Emergency Management Coordinator for the city in event of major crisis – assuming the title from his boss, Chief Tammy Burr, who resigned from handling that task citing the current workload taking priority now.
