Ingleside Police Chief Tammy Burr told City Council members January 23rd that based on the department’s analysis of 2023 traffic stop data there were no documented cases of racial profiling, and that’s what’s been submitted in an annual report to a Texas state agency that monitors such issues involving law enforcement.

More than half a year since the front of Ingleside City Hall was damaged by an elderly motorist who lost control of her vehicle, slamming into the building, repairs are likely expected to start in February and take at least two weeks to complete. Some municipal offices will be relocated to temporary quarters in a mobile trailer outside for the duration.
