Brandon ‘Bobo’ Barboza, 27 (left), lived in Aransas Pass and worked in a restaurant in Port Aransas. Monday, May 8, his bullet-riddled body was found inside an SUV in a grassy field off FM 2725 near the Moose Lodge and the Union Pacific Railroad tracks. He, along with roommate and coworker Xxavier Marchus, 26 (right), had been shot too, the circumstances leading up to their deaths still a mystery. Barboza’s funeral in Corpus Christi was late last week. His mother told The Progress he would be cremated. Resthaven Funeral Home in Aransas Pass was handling arrangements for Marchus, who, according to family, would be cremated as well.
