Mustangs defeat Sinton Pirates, clinch playoff spot
The Ingleside High School varsity Mustangs traveled to Sinton Friday, Nov. 2, winning 33-14, to improve to 3-1 in district and 5-4 overall, and clinch a playoff spot.
Head Coach Hunter Hamrick said about the game, “Tonight I felt that our team, for the first time this season, dominated all aspects of the game. There was a short period where we lagged a bit, but overall, our team played dominating football in all areas.”
With the win over Sinton, Ingleside has clinched a playoff spot. A win over West Oso Friday, Nov. 9 the Mustangs would clinch the second place seed in the playoffs and would match up with Port Isabel in round 1.
