A mother and her two sons were apprehended in connection with a shooting in Clarke County, Mississippi.
According to the Clarke County Sheriff’s Department, the shooting occurred on July 30 on County Road 1581.
On Friday, the sheriff’s department said that Darayvion Blanks, 15, had been charged as an adult for his alleged role in the incident.
His older brother, Kemarrion Blanks, has also been detained and charged with various felonies, including firing into a vehicle, shooting into an occupied residence, and aggravated assault.
Furthermore, their mother, Danielle Blanks, has been detained and charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor, allegedly for supporting or failing to prevent her minor son’s engagement in illegal behavior.
