The Ionia County Sheriff’s Office says that police found a missing 14-year-old girl in Ionia Township, Indiana, with an adult male.
On July 11, deputies responded to a report of a possible runaway. They learned the teen left with an adult man from Kentucky. According to police, they were involved in an online relationship.
The inquiry into their relationship revealed “troubling signs of manipulation and control by the suspect,” police claim. This resulted in an emergency location order for a phone.
According to the data, the suspect’s vehicle was in Indiana. On Saturday, around 1:19 a.m., Indiana State Police discovered the car.
According to authorities, the teenager was unharmed and has been reunited with his family. The suspect was arrested and is currently in custody.
