The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing 9-year-old boy who went missing Monday afternoon.
On August 5, at about 2:20 a.m., D.C. police issued a “Critical Missing” alert for Lorenzo Hammond, 9.
According to the alert, Lorenzo was last seen near the 5300 block of Clay Street NE around 2 p.m. on Monday, August 4.
According to police, Lorenzo is about 4 feet tall and weighs between 80 and 90 pounds. He has brown hair and eyes and was last seen wearing a white shirt, black pants, and black Crocs.
