Libraries receive donated books
Four libraries and eight schools in the Coastal Bend, including Ingleside and Aransas Pass, are the beneficiaries of a book donation delivered from Comstock Park, MI by the generous trucking company of Tanis Trucking, at no cost.
The 15 pallets of books were donated through the Kent District Library’s main office in Comstock Park, MI. The books were delivered to the Aransas Pass Civic Center, and were unloaded through the assistance of the Aransas Pass Fire Department.
The books will be divided and given to the following: the Ingleside Public Library and three Ingleside Independent School District (ISD) schools, the Ed and Hazel Richmond Public Library and five Aransas Pass ISD schools, the Aransas County Public Library in Rockport, and the Mathis Public Library.
