Jo Lynn Winslow
Jo Lynn Winslow (Sheffield), 61, of Ingleside, went home to be with the Lord on Dec. 25, 2017. Jo Lynn was born Aug. 26, 1956 in Colorado City, Texas to Floyd Eugene and Evelyn Sheffield. Jo Lynn was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who instilled in her children the love of generosity and compassion that she lived her life by. Her faith in God and strong bonds with her parents and siblings shaped Jo Lynn into the wonderful mom, grandmother, sister, and friend that she was. Jo Lynn will forever be remembered for her love of cooking, sewing, and crafting. She was the light of her husband’s eye and will be truly missed. She was preceded in death by her father, Floyd Eugene Sheffield. Jo Lynn is survived by her loving husband of 18 years, James A. Winslow of Ingleside; three daughters, Leslie Brown (Jeremy), Michele Winslow, and Nikki Winslow; two sons, Dustin Pullin (Roxann), and James Winslow II (Christine); her mother, Evelyn Sheffield; eight grandchildren, Keitric (Jameece), Kaleigh, Preston, Anthony, Catherine, Waylon, Aubrey, and Kinsley; one great- grandchild, Jayce; two sisters, Sandra Brister (Jerry), and Brenda Dossett (James); two brothers, Raymond Sheffield, and Floyd Sheffield (Pat); numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends whom she adored. The family thanks everyone for their prayers, thoughts, and condolences. A funeral service was held Friday, Dec. 29, 2017 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass.
