Housing shortage predicted in Ingleside
San Patricio Economic Development Corporation (SPEDC) Representative Foster Edwards presented Ingleside City leaders with research studies statics to reflect housing units’ inventory availability falls short by more than 3,400 housing units in the county. Additionally, the organization’s conducted research studies targeted to promote a diversity, and to attract different business usages. These studies, highlighted Ingleside.
Edwards stated, based on a 2017 tally of residential sales, per the San Patricio County Realtor Association, the demand for housing units will fall short of the demand of 3,419 units. A housing unit includes multi-family usage, such as apartments.
