Frank Edward Creek
A much-loved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, friend and great mentor, Frank Edward Creek 53 of Beeville, Texas, passed away April 23, 2019 with his family by his side. He had bravely confronted and fought cancer. He was born April 4, 1966 in San Antonio. He was a graduate of Ingleside High School.
He is survived by his wife Mona Ackerman Creek of Beeville; daughters Amanda Garcia (Javier) of Houston, and Amber Tucker of Austin; son Chance Tucker of Corpus Christi; granddaughters Maya Landers of Corpus Christi, and Emily Carruthers of Houston; his parents Paul and Mae Creek of Ingleside; sisters, Paula Steele of Ingleside, Pamela Whitney (Zane) of Aransas Pass, and Lisa Floerke (Sam Jr.) of Taft; brother James Creek (Daria) of Ingleside; in-laws, Fred and Archie Ackerman of Yoakum; sistersin-law, Rhonda Ackerman Glenn of Beeville, and Terri Ackerman of Havana Cuba; brothers-in-law, Douglas Ackerman of Arkansas, Mike (Susie) Ackerman of Tennessee; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Frank had a love for the water and fishing but most importantly he loved his family and playing with his granddaughters. He will be missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held Saturday May 4 at 1 p.m., at the Brass Turtle Lodge, Ingleside on the Bay. A reception will follow the memorial service. “He fought a good fight, he kept the faith.”
