Mentor police say officers apprehended a serial thief wanted nationwide on Thursday at an Ulta Beauty store.
Paula Andrea Lopez-Correa is accused of stealing more than $81,000 worth of merchandise from Ulta Beauty locations across the US.
A Mentor police report states that the sighting of a “known shoplifter” at the Mentor Avenue location alerted officers.
Her arrest comes just months after an Ulta Beauty store in Mayfield Heights was targeted.
Workers at the Som Center Road location noticed the thefts on surveillance video back in May.
Authorities report that they witnessed Lopez-Correa pilfering over $2,200 worth of products during the incident.
According to a police report, Mayfield Heights officers shared Lopez-Correa’s images with Ulta shop locations around the country, warning employees to be on the lookout.
Police have issued a theft warrant for Lopez-Correa in multiple states.
She is expected in court next week.
