The Portland Police Central Bike Squad seized 14.1 pounds of marijuana, 16 times the legal limit, as well as ammunition and a realistic replica firearm, after questioning two occupants of a parked vehicle in the Old Town neighborhood on Friday evening.
The authorities discovered the occupants’ possession of fentanyl while conducting an inventory search of the vehicle while waiting for it to be removed from an illegal parking location.
The bike squad officers became suspicious of a box located in the rear seat of the vehicle and discovered its contents when they opened it. The marijuana was packaged and sealed in bricks and weighed 16 times the legal limit in Oregon, making possession a criminal crime.
Mykell A. Bru (37) and Luella T. Asuluk (39) were booked into Multnomah County Detention Center on fentanyl and cannabis possession charges.
