A 35-year-old woman is facing a felony charge after deputies saidย she was selling fake Louis Vuitton handbags from her northwest Miami-Dade home, where she stored over 1,000 copycat items.
According to an arrest report, the investigation against Liudmila Perez Labrada began after someone notified Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers that she was keeping and selling the things at her home in the county’s unincorporated West Little River neighborhood.
According to the report, on June 16, a deputy went to the home in the 3100 block of Northwest 81st Terrace to conduct an undercover buy.
Authorities stated that when the deputy arrived, a “small young (boy)” opened the door.
“Liudmila Perez then approached the deputy and permitted him to enter the home. According to the report, Perez told the deputy to search around for whatever he liked.
According to the report, the deputy purchased a reprted Louis Vuitton Sarah pocketbook worth $760 and a purported Louis Vuitton Alma BB handbag worth $1,900.
Deputies stated that Perez sold the items for $90 and $270, respectively.

Deputies then made another purchase on June 30, they said. According to the claim, she sold a supposed Looping handbag worth $2,800 for $250.
On Thursday, deputies arrived at Perez’s residence and arrested him. They stated they seized over $1 million in counterfeit items.
Perez, who was detained on a charge of counterfeiting more than $20,000 in products, was being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on Friday afternoon with a bond of “to be set.”
