A Mount Pleasant man has been charged after chatting online with an undercover officer posing as a 14-year-old girl.
Adam Davis, 37, faces charges of grooming, enticing , and sexual exploitation of a minor.
According to the arrest document, Davis and the undercover officer communicated online for two and a half months.
According to authorities, while chatting, Davis requested nude images from the undercover officer and discussed various sexual acts.
Davis, according to police, believed the undercover was a 14-year-old girl and arranged to meet in Davenport with the intent to engage in sexual acts with a minor.
Davis was arrested and booked into the Scott County Jail on a $50,000 cash-only bond.
