A man has been apprehended on animal cruelty charges following a joint investigation with the Houston SPCA and Harris County Constable Precinct 1.
The Houston SPCA reported on Facebook that a 5-month-old puppy was rescued from abuse more than a week ago after one of his rear legs had been broken.
In a second post, Constable Alan Rosen reported that Carrick Green, 43, was detained and charged with animal cruelty for hanging the pup by its neck.
Green now faces felony animal cruelty accusations.
