Operation Mongolian Beef detained dozens of violent offenders in Central Florida.
A joint investigation between the Volusia Sheriff’s Office, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the Seventh Judicial Circuit State Attorney’s Office resulted in the arrest of twenty-eight members of the Mongols motorcycle gang.
The following people have been charged with aggravated rioting in connection with the gas station shooting that happened in New Smyrna Beach during Bike Week on March 8, 2025.

Aggravated Rioting (Florida Statute 870.01, 3) occurs when a person joins in a riot with 25 or more others. It is a second-degree felony punishable by up to 15 years in prison.
There were also 14 search warrants served, including at the Mongols Clubhouse in Edgewater, four properties in Volusia County, three in Brevard County, two in Miami-Dade County, one in Chesterfield County, Virginia, one in Palm Beach County, and two in Polk County.
