A death investigation in Central Florida is underway with limited details.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is investigatingย the death of two people in Dover.
Last month, the HCSO Communications Center got a call indicating that a male had been discovered dead with an apparent gunshot wound to his upper body.
Deputies arrived at the Oaklea Manor Apartments, situated at 12783 East US Highway, and discovered the male dead inside one of the apartments. Deputies also discovered a deceased female with upper body trauma.
Detectives believe this is an isolated incident with no threat to the public.
According to local law enforcement, there is an active investigation ongoing.
