1 Dead And 2 Injured In I-40 Collision; Driver In Custody

A deadly three-vehicle crash on Interstate-40 early Sunday morning killed a Florida man and led to the arrest of a Sallisaw woman on suspicion of driving under the influence, according to an accident report issued by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

The collision reportedly occurred around 1:35 a.m. on westbound I-40 around mile marker 317, near Muldrow.

Troopers detained Cambre L. Wright, 20, of Sallisaw, on charges of aggravated driving under the influence (DUI). Wright suffered no harm in the crash.

Linda A. Mager, 66, of Fruitland Park, Fla., and her companion, John H. Beahn, 69, of Fruitland Park, were injured in the crash. Despite life-saving measures, Beahn reportedly passed away. Mager was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The second vehicle was driven by Natalie J. Finley, 30, of Oklahoma City. Finley was not injured.

The circumstances behind the crash are still being investigated at press time.
