Turkey with all the fixings is served to San Patricio County elderly residents that gathered Wednesday, November 16 at the Ingleside Senior Center for an early Thanksgiving meal, courtesy of Chemours. It’s the first year the company has provided such a meal, known for their other charitable contributions throughout the year, including a recent project to spruce up the senior center’s flower beds. Tables were filled last week as servers brought around hot meals that included mashed potatoes, stuffing, and a roll, too. Not to mention all sorts of sweet desserts and fresh, cut fruit. Chemours representative Rudy Curiel beamed with pride as his coworkers joined in the festivities, enjoying an opportunity to give back to the community.
