Volunteers with the GFWC Women’s Monday Club of the Coastal Bend work throughout historic Prairie View Cemetery December 6th marking gravesites in preparation for ‘Wreaths Across America’ this weekend. The group received strong support from the public this year, enough to pay for 337 wreaths that will be placed to commemorate U.S. military veterans buried here, some that date back to the Civil War.
