BATADGA tourney begins in Ingleside
Bill and Ted’s Awesome Disc Golf Adventure announced the first stop of 11 tournaments for the BATADGA Tournament Tour Series will at Ingleside’s Live Oak Park Feb. 2, 2019.
The event travels to different cities each month and will culminate in a Final Tournament back in Ingleside on its Championship Gold Course Dec.7-8, 2019.
BATADGA is a series of professionally-run, sanctioned disc golf tournaments that encompasses 10 cities in South Texas throughout 2019. Other tour stops after Ingleside, are Corpus Christi, Beeville, Elmendorf, San Antonio, Uvalde, Junction, McAllen, Victoria, and Brownsville (not necessarily in that order).
Each tournament is a Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA) sanctioned Btier one-day tournament that will bring in anywhere from 70 to 180 participants. Some participants will be coming from within the community, but most will be from out of town.
