Oklahoma City police have detained a second suspect in connection with a homicide on Thursday, August 7, 2025.

According to the OCPD, Nathaniel Brannon, 24, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder. He is currently being jailed under a $10 million bond.

Oklahoma City police officers responded to a shooting call about 7:34 p.m. on Thursday.

When authorities arrived, Savon Miller, 30, was found and pronounced dead from several gunshot wounds.

Talor Brannon, 22, was detained when detectives discovered he had gotten into an incident with Miller.

When Talor Brannon was arrested, investigators discovered scratches, bruises, and blood on his face, hands, and clothing.

In a lineup, an eyewitness identified Nathaniel Brannon as the shooter.
