The woman accused of running over three children in Walnut Hills on Wednesday appeared in court Thursday on felonious assault charges. One of the victims may never walk again, according to a cop who spoke during Jada Luckey’s arraignment.

The assistant prosecutor stated that Luckey was attempting to flee the area around the Alms following a fight. As she was departing, he claims she hit three children and attempted to run over another person involved in a dispute.

One remains in the hospital with critical injuries. The youngest may never walk again after being dragged beneath Luckey’s car, according to a detective who testified in court.

“As she was trying to leave the area, she saw the mother standing almost directly in front of her and plows right into everybody,” said the detective.

The investigator also stated that Luckey acknowledged using alcohol and drugs, although she is not currently facing any drug or alcohol-related charges.

Luckey is accused of driving with a suspended license.

The judge put her bond at $600,000. He also ordered her not to contact the victims and to remain away from the Alms if she posted bond.
