A Texas woman was arrested last Monday evening after abandoning her vehicle in the main lane of traffic, resulting in a two-vehicle collision. According to a Facebook post by Constable Mark Herman’s Office, deputies arrived at the crash location on FM 1960 W at 10:46 p.m. After an inquiry, they discovered the automobile left in the road without lights and linked it back to the driver, Michelle Guerrero.
Guerrero’s connection to the automobile was proved by her Texas driver’s license, which was left behind in the abandoned car. She was found at a nearby residence and acknowledged to driving and leaving the vehicle on the road. Along with the identification, deputies discovered an open container of alcohol, unopened alcohol bottles, and marijuana in the vehicle.
“Michelle Guerrero was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Obstruction of a Highway. Her bond was set at $100.00 out of County Court 7,” stated Constable Mark Herman, as noted by the Precinct 4 Facebook page.
