Man Sentenced To Prison For Delivering Fentanyl To Hospital Patient

A man has been sentenced after he delivered fentanyl to a patient at a hospital he claimed to visit.

Kirby Spruill, 51, of New York, was sentenced to at least 45 months and up to 12 years in prison for possessing 5.18 grams of fentanyl with the intent to deliver.

Spruill was charged following a December 2024 incident at Robert Packer Hospital. Officials said that Spruill was witnessed handing narcotics to a patient he was allegedly “visiting.”

Spruill had previously been charged with many drug charges and robbery.
