A man is in jail after allegedly stealing thousands of dollars in high-tech equipment from cell phone towers in Arizona.

According to Buckeye police, 38-year-old Jeremiah Ramage broke into more than 35 cellphone towers in the Phoenix metro area. He allegedly sold the stolen equipment on eBay.

On June 10, police responded to a break-in at a cellphone tower near I-10 and Sun Valley Parkway. Upon their arrival, the police discovered the theft of expensive equipment, including an industrial router. Detectives discovered the equipment for sale online and tracked it back to Ramage, a former contractor.

More than a month later, on July 17, investigators pulled Ramage over near Sun Valley Parkway and Thomas Road. Investigators claimed they discovered cell tower equipment associated with crimes in southern Arizona, as well as a stolen firearm. Detectives claimed they seized hundreds of things from his residence that belonged to several cellular service providers.

Ramage was placed into jail on accusations of burglary, theft, and trafficking stolen property.
