A pair of Brazilian “illegal aliens” were detained in Central Florida amid an international homicide case, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
FDLE officials recognized Lafaiett Pereira and Marcia De Oliveira in a release they issued on Thursday.
“(Pereira) was wanted on an active INTERPOL Red Notice for homicide while his wife was running her own unlawful business in the U.S.,” the release reads.
Pereira and Oliveira, according to the FDLE, had breached the terms of their nonimmigrant visas and were thus branded as “deportable aliens.”
There is currently no new information available concerning the homicide case.
