A man and a woman were found dead inside a running car in Chicago’s Little Village neighborhood on Wednesday night.
Around 9 p.m., police discovered the 70-year-old man and 35-year-old woman in a vehicle in the 3000 block of South Komensky Avenue.
Both victims were pronounced dead on the scene. The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the individual as Ruben Garza. Officials say he lived on the same block where he was discovered dead.
The woman’s identity has not yet been revealed. Police have opened a death inquiry after the event.
The autopsy results are awaited.
