Natalie De Jesus Garcia, a 30-year-old Puerto Rican woman, has pled guilty to possessing over eight kilograms of cocaine with the intent to distribute, according to US Attorney Gregory W. Kehoe.
De Jesus Garcia faces a minimum sentence of ten years in federal prison and a maximum punishment of life.
Her punishment hearing has been scheduled for October 2, 2025.
According to court documents, De Jesus Garcia checked a bag on a flight from San Juan, Puerto Rico, to Orlando on January 24, 2025. The bag contained over eight kilograms of cocaine.
Homeland Security Investigations investigated this case, which is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Diane Hu.
